From its beginnings as a footpath and garden competition in 1959 to the beginning of an annual festival in 1969 to stimulate the social, cultural and sporting activities within the Hills Shire, the Orange Blossom Festival has today grown to be one of Australia’s largest community owned and run festivals. It’s name stems from the Shire’s beginnings as a major citrus growing region from the 1800’s onwards.

Crestwood Fair, which has become an integral part of the Orange Blossom Festival, strives to bring our community the biggest, brightest and best Fair each year. In 2010 we had a crowd of approximately 25,000 people attend the Fair.

Crestwood Fair promotes our community’s image and culture as well as providing a valuable forum for local community groups to disseminate information and raise much needed funds. It offers local residents and visitors a large variety of activities under the one banner including entertainment, the Crestwood Idol talent quest, sport and leisure activities, demonstrations, carnival rides, market stalls, food, fireworks and much more.

We launched this brand new website on 10 July 2011 and will continuously provide you with the latest information so that you are always up to date with all our activities, new initiatives and offerings.

15 September: It may be our 21st birthday, but one of our lucky patrons on Sunday will win a treasure chest of gifts in our Key Mania contest. Simply find one of fifty specially marked keys concealed in various locations around the Fair grounds and take it to our Information Booth. If your key opens the lock, then you win the prizes. Simple!
