Crestwood Idol, which is held in conjunction with Crestwood Fair, is an annual talent quest now in its sixth year. Since its inception, Crestwood Idol has grown significantly and is recognised as the leading vocal competition in the Hills Shire. It not only encourages local singers, but it also provides them with valuable experience and a platform to showcase their talent.

There are two age categories - 12 years and under and open age.

Crestwood Idol comprised two heats in 2011 which were held at Stockland Baulkham Hills on 3 September and 10 September. The following performers (in no particular order) advanced to the Grand Final which was held on the main stage at Crestwood Fair.
