Field 1 will be transformed into a showcase of sport and leisure activities available within the Hills Shire. From giant chess to a game of AFL and even a circus workshop, you’ll see it all in this action-packed precinct.

Two of our most popular demonstrations, the Emergency Services display and Danelaw Medieval Fighting Society, will be back again this year. In the Emergency Services display the SES, Fire and Rescue NSW, Rural Fire Service, NSW Police, St John Ambulance and Careflight all work together in a mock rescue of a person trapped in a car. Meanwhile, Danelaw will recreate the combat aspects of medieval history using authentic recreations of weapons armour and costumes.

Carnival rides and amusements will be located on the netball courts and carpark between Field 2 and the tennis courts. Old favourites will combine with new attractions to create a fun, family-friendly environment that will provide hours of entertainment for all ages.

If you’re planning to make shopping a major focus of your visit to the Fair, then will have some fabulous market stalls again this year. There will also be a tongue-teasing medley of taste sensations provided by local community groups. 

Key Mania is back after a long absence. It may be our 21st birthday, but one of our lucky patrons on Sunday will win a treasure chest of gifts in our Key Mania contest. Simply find one of fifty specially marked keys concealed in various locations around the Fair grounds and take it to our Information Booth. If your key opens the lock, then you win the prizes. Simple!

Colour, energy and a great soundtrack.  It's hard to beat the fireworks finale at 7:15 pm, which is always an exciting end to a fun packed day.
